A Night of Upset and Close Games at the Masters’ League

What a night of good competition in the 35 and Older League which is now called, The Masters League.  The Kryptonites made an impressive run by climbing up from 4th place to earning the spot to compete in the championship game next Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at CK Ray Rec Center.  They did it by defeating a formidable opponent, the B2F Lions, in the 1st round and then defeating the number 1 ranked and undefeated team, the Bombers, in the finals.  The Kryptonites was led by Bobby Rouse, their big man, along with the relentless defensive performance by their point guard, LaDon Johnson, and their shooting guard, Sammy Veal.  Fred Edmond completes this Cinderella team with his skill set that made him the number one ranked player in the Masters League.  Check them out this Tuesday battle it out against another good team, the Hoop Dreams, for the title.  Make sure to come early and watch the All-Star game where the All-Star MVP winner receives a free entry into the next season.
